I was excited to get to read this new book by Ilima Todd, I really enjoyed Remake. I loved the way that this book is from the point of view of Theron. It’s fun to read what happened from his perspective. And I was kind of sad about how things ended for him at the end of Remake.

I have to admit that I still felt bad for him at the beginning of this book. He was very obviously still hurting about losing Nine and Eridian will not allow him to forget her and move on. Eridian seems to think that Theron knows where Nine went and she keeps him on his toes in different ways trying to figure out what he may or may not know.

Theron is a healer, and he’s approached by a man named Catcher to help him with a project, little does Theron know that this project will change everything for him, his life, the way he sees their government, his loyalties and even his love. Catcher asks him to talk with a young woman named Pua to try to figure out what might be wrong with her. He eventually does figure it out, but along the way he falls in love with her. I was really amazed by the way that Pua’s whole story fit into Theron’s.

I loved the plot of this book. I loved the action, the adventure, the cunning that the characters show, only to find out that they weren’t as sneaky as they thought they had been.

I loved seeing the way life has turned out at this point for Nine and learning just what the reason is for Eridian being so fixated on finding her.

I really enjoyed this book and I’m hoping to be able to read a third one really soon! I need to know just what happened to all of these amazing characters!

Really loved this one. It's one of the better YA dystopian novels I've read in a long while, and I was sufficiently hooked the whole way through the novel.
