Great idea for a book and really well executed. A thoroughly good read. Highly recommended. .

I remember several years ago when Amy Krouse Rosenthal's essay You May Want to Marry My Husband went viral. I avoided it then and continue to avoid it (I cry at the drop of a hat and I can't imagine there's a Kleenex box big enough for this). Amy has since passed, but left behind this absolute gem of a book. Textbook Amy Krouse is full of funny, witty, and poignant ponderings, each one incredible relatable. My favorite included "I tend to...have trouble with ceiling fan strings. Pull it once to stop? Twice? In trying to turn it off I will just speed it up - great, now it is spinning around so fast that it's wobbling almost violently." I feel seen, Amy.

I also giggled at "(Patience + Silence) x Coffee = Poetry (Patience + Silence) x Beer = Fishing. Despite it's page length, the formatting made this easily digestible in a fraction of the time it would take to normally read a book. While reading, I couldn't help but think of another book I enjoyed, Twenty-One Truths About Love by Matthew Dicks. The lists, the formatting, the beautiful moments.
