What an adorable story!! I quickly fell I. Love with Claude and by the end of the book I fell in love with the residents of Maple St! I enjoyed how the moods in the neighborhood changed all because Claude brought them together. I adored Holly and Jack’s mini romance. This book really gave me a festive cheer and I highly would recommend this for a must read all year long and not just Christmas. But of course the Christmas setting did add more magic & hello did you see the adorable pup on the cover?! Too cute!! A new favorite of mine!

I was given this book by Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

A very cute and quick read about a French bulldog who gets left behind when his family goes to visit family at Christmas, reminding he a little of a dog version of Home Alone! Although instead of fighting burglars, Claude is helping the neighborhood fight loneliness and a sense of not belonging.

The characters were believable, although the romance, expected as it was, was a little too much. But I liked it and will read more from this author, especially holiday-themed books.

I really enjoyed the book, it has everything I love in a novel from start to finish. I can’t wait to read what the author has planned next!

Claudes Christmas Adventure is such a heart warming Christmas tale of a gorgeous bulldog who is left alone at Christmas with a constant appetite, and a craving for gingerbread, that gets him into some mischief.

I have a dog and I can't imagine what it would be like to leave him behind let alone how he would cope.
Claude is a strong lil pup with a thirst for adventure, survival and a rather big appetite. He meets some interesting characters along the way!

Claudes owners the Mc Cawleys decide to take a Christmas Holiday, but unfortunately Claude finds himself alone and on his street when he misses the car.

However as soon as the Mc Cawleys realise Claude is missing they do everything they can to make it back to him.

Claude soon finds he's way into a neighbours house by belly flopping he's way through the cat flap.
In need of food and survival, he's adventure begins.

I love how the story has been written by four people's prospectives.
You get a different take on the story bringing it to life.
It takes a chapter or so to get used to this style but after a while you realise it works.

The story is so beautifully written with an eye catching cover who could resist such a charming story.
It has everything you need to make a great Christmas story.
Friendship, adventure, adorable & cheeky dog, baking, community spirit, love, humour, bringing people together.

I hope you all enjoy Claudes adventures as much as I did.
I have a dog and I can't imagine him even being able to squeeze in through a cat flap! Especially without getting a bonk on he's nose first!

I really recommend this book to everyone not just animal lovers, as there is a little something for everyone!

My favorite two topics were addressed in this book, animals, and Christmas. A very cute and sweet book. I truly enjoyed reading this book and I was sorry when it was over.

This is one delightful story as told through the eyes of Claude, a lovable French Bulldog, who is ruled by his stomach, Jack, the neighborhood postman, and Holly, a crafter home alone at Christmas. There are many reasons to love this story, but the biggest for me was the big heart it contained. Human nature was perfectly depicted, with humor and gentle reminders of what the true meaning of family is all about. All in all, it is a story that anyone would enjoy reading...especially if you were looking to getting into the holiday spirit.
