If the reader is looking for the best in plastic surgery options, then this book would probably be what they are looking for. They DO offer the reader anti-aging options that do NOT include the knife and I would probably have preferred that the entire book would have been dedicated to just that.

This is a review of Dr. and Mrs. Guinea Pig Present the Only Guide you ever Need to the Best Anti-aging Treatments. I'm sure you're going to think I live under a rock because I did not know who either of these people was when I downloaded the book. He is the plastic surgeon from the TV show; Botched. She is one of the housewives from the TV show; Housewives of Orange County. All that aside, I think there's some great tips about makeup, hair, and skin treatments. The last section is on Plastic surgery which I just skimmed since I am not at that point yet.
She shares some of her favorite make up tips and I found it interesting that she doesn't always use some very expensive brand. She mentions that make up is one of the cheapest ways you can instantly change your appearance and make yourself feel good. One of the big things that she mentioned was not to use a heavy foundation and a lot of women continue to do this. She also mentions that contouring is way out of control. She shared several products that she uses that I highlighted to go back and check. She recommends cleaning your brushes and they shared two different ways you can do that. There's also a section on eyelashes.
She shares how to read make up labels and hair product labels and ingredients to look for and ingredients to avoid.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about how to look younger.

The book is packed with instructions and information. I'm impressed with Dr. Dubrow's conservative approach to procedures and the rating system for procedures is very helpful. Am also impressed with the fact that although their own line of products is mentioned, they have not done so in an obnoxious promotional way. They list their products along with many other alternative products with a good percentage of them available affordably and over the counter. Thank you for that. Mrs. Dubrow offers her own experiences and suggestions in a helpful and approachable manner.
