This was a fascinating novel. Took a while to get used to the style but the characters were really intriguing and so was the premise. I found the main character Ana, to be a really likeable narrator and seeing her grow as she moved from one community to a totally different one fascinating. On top of that there's conflict with her parents (which isn't unusual for a teen) but what made this different was events surrounding the conflict. Quite emotional as well and very moving.
