3.5 out of 5 stars! Two people who believe they have their lives all mapped out for themselves get thrown for a loop once they meet one another. Who they once were changes in ways they are not familiar. Therefore, they soon have to decide which path they truly want to take no matter the cost. Will they choose each other or will other life choices get in the way?

This novel was not quite what I expected, and I am happy with that. It is about two very ambitious people finding one another during a high-pressure setting. Corrine isn’t the type to fall for anyone yet Austin (Bates) barrels past all of her personal barriers with ease. While both are scared about what a relationship would mean for both of them, I enjoyed how they handled it without running from any of the situations that were thrown at them (or if they did it wasn’t for long). And though you cannot overlook the novel’s title, this novel was more than that secret, it was about each of them following their hearts to what they truly wanted out of life.

I recommend this novel to anyone looking for a sweet contemporary romance to read.
