Before I moved to Florida, safe in the sane, comfy confines of Chicago, I used to think Hiaasen was writing FICTION.
Now that I live in this state, also called God's Weird Wonderland. I realise that Hiaasen was simply looking about and writing what he saw.
Razor Girl is another mad romp through the unique insanity that is Miami.
Dark satirical wit.
Even darker humour.
Hiaasen never disappoints.
Or fails to astound with just how fucked up humanity can be.

CArl Hiaasen can always be counted on to find quirky characters caught in the most amazing and strange circumstances. One of my favorite Florida authors.

Lots of bawdy fun! After Terry Pratchett and PG Wodehouse a bit of a sledgehammer approach, but a great romp anyway. These scenarios are beyond the pale. Hiaasen has such an amazing imagination. It is a delight to read.

Another rollicking Hiassen book for those who enjoy his work. I did.
