Really solid story. I enjoyed all the characters. Storyline was a little far fetched but it was twisty, intriguing, and a tad thrilling. I don’t know if i liked the end, but that’s a personal preference. I really enjoyed the suspense of the unknown person and what they brought to the storyline. And I really enjoyed the scene with the two house hunters. Looking forward to more from this author.

Thank you so much for my review copy in return for an honest review. Much appreciated.

Michael has confessed to his wife Louise about his affair, he has been having an affair with his sister-in law and has immensely upset his wife!
Louise and her daughter Brooke are already dealing with a crime that was committed long time ago and that changed their lives. This event had already torn their lives and that apparently leads to further damage.
The same bit about the crime that happened in the past is repeatedly mentioned (without mentioning the event) in the initial chapters and it just goes on and on. Poor storyline, weak plot and unfortunately this was not a page turner!

This was a fast paced mystery that I was not expecting. Louise is a married mother of two and her world is falling apart. Her husband is cheating on her with her sister and her family is about to lose everything financially. Her life was perfect a year ago, up until ‘that night’. Shortly after, mysterious things begin happening to her and her daughter Brooke - both participants on the night that changed their lives forever.

I was very invested in figuring what happened here and was even happier when I found I didn’t have to wait until the very end to find out the event on ‘that night’. Although none of the characters were terribly likable, I couldn’t wait to see what happened next and I was able to read this is less than a day. I will w be looking for more books by this author. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Anything for Her by Jack Jordan is a tense yet emotional thriller that is utterly gripping from the opening pages.

The fist book I read by Jack Jordan was My Girl, a book I really enjoyed, so i made sure I had time to sit with this book, so I could really get stuck into it.

Anything for Her is another good read, an interesting story. It also seemed a very easy read. It was an easy story to follow, and enjoyable.

Wow! Pretty twisted! Makes you wonder how crazy and demented people can get in certain situations. I rate it a 3.7!

What happens is you loose your husband and your life as you know it? Life is more cruel even and your daughter disappears. This was a great heart-wrenching read - recommended!!

I received a free copy of this book, from the publisher and author, via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to the publisher, JJP, the author, Jack Jordan, and NetGalley.

I seem to have read the Jack Jordan's other book, My Girl, first. But my love for that book brought me to read this book.

When a family falls apart in the worsts ways possible what do they do. This novel tells that perfectly. Can you keep a secret from your spouse? Even when your family is already falling apart? And just how far will a mother go to protect her child?

With the suspense of "that night" taking the reader through the entire novel, its a must read. Not wanting to put it down, I kept turning the page.

I am looking forward to more Jack Jordan novels!!

I'm a big fan of psychological thrillers and I really like Jack Jordan's writing style. It's fast, it's entertaining and it manages to catch your attention right from the first page. Anything For Her starts out strong and stays that way during the rest of the story. The whole mystery around 'that night' is intriguing and definitely makes you want to keep on reading... I don't think I agree with the choices the main character Louise makes, but it is without doubt a very suspenseful read with quite a few plot twists. I sort of saw some of them coming, but others managed to surprise me and all in all I had a very good experience reading this book. In fact, I think I enjoyed this debut even slightly better than My Girl... Although both titles are more than recommended. The characters are without doubt interesting as well even though some are not all that likeable, and it was quite easy to relate to most of them (not the cheating husband though; he deserves the worst). If you are looking for your next psychological thriller read, Anything For Her is a great choice.

I got to 20% and just couldn't go on.

I think that by continually referring to 'that night', the author is trying to build up suspense. Unfortunately, it just didn't work for me. I found it irritating. Perhaps if he had dribbled just a little information each time I would have kept going.

Another thing that annoyed me (other than the characters, who were all very annoying!) was that Louise, who badly sprained her ankle one night, walks for hours on it the following day. Is she a masochist?

I wanted to like this book. This is a young author, a first book, and I really tried to like it. But when I was looking at my Kindle and dreading picking it up, I knew I just had to cut this one loose.

Thank you to publishers JJP via NetGalley for a digital ARC of Anything for her by Jack Jordan for review. All opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

Anything for Her is the author's debut novel. The plot drew me in, therefore I had to request it.

Usually I am quite a fast paced reader, but to be honest, I did struggle a bit to get into this book, and put it down a few times and read something else in between.

In the end, I'm glad I finished it and I think if I'd have had more patience and read it all in one go, I would have given it 5 stars.

If you struggle to get into the book, just persevere!

This is an amazing debut novel full of twists and turns and red herrings galore! It's fast paced and gripping through out....everyone has a secret and it's down to you to figure out who's the bad guy in all of this, all I can say is you will not be able to put it down. Can't wait to read more by the author!....

I am struggling with what rating to give this book. I read it in a little over 2 hours, so it is a quick easy read. Having said that, the subject matter is dark and the characters disturbing. If acts of violence aren't your thing then you should probably stay away from this.one.
Written in three parts, part one had me gripped from the beginning and then it sort of went downhill. Part two was like it was out to shock you as much as possible and part three seemed rushed.
Having said that I did like the book so I would give it 3.5/4 stars.
