This is a hard review for me to write because I'm a huge fan of Meghan Quinn's work and thoroughly enjoyed book 1, but this book was a tough read for me. Rosie's insecurities and antics started to wear quickly on my nerves causing me to start disliking her. Many of the mishaps that occur were just too over the top for me and unlike the first book, rarely did I find humor in them. With that said, The Randy Romance Novelists is still a good read that many of the other readers obviously loved so if you like crazy comedies with over the top antics, be sure to check it out!

I give it three stars, because it is definitely worth a read, just that it might not ever get re-read, There are other better Quinn books to read first.

Meghan Quinn knows how to bring the Rom-Com. If you need to laugh so hard you'll cry, you should read a this. I mean, start with The Virgin Romance Novelist first, but then definitely continue with this book. You're gonna laugh. Be warned, it's crazy, over-the-top humor, but it'll make you happy and you'll feel good when you're finished.

OMG- Meghan Quinn writes such fun reads! The Randy Romance Novelist finishes up where The Virgin Romance Novelist stopped so you need to read that one first.

There are so many laugh out loud situations in this book...... do yourself a favor & read these 2 books.
