A sweet love story between a woman trying to recover from the loss of her child and subsequent divorce and a man forced to take responsibility for his addict sister's son. The catalyst is his reclusive aunt with secrets of her own.

I really loved this story. Sara Hardy thought she had it all, a husband & a beautiful little girl. However, her life didn't go as planned so she went to Redemption Connecticut for a break, to rest.

Jake Mathieson is also battling some issues & goes to Redemption as he needs the help of his widowed Aunt Cilla who was battling her own demons.

These were characters that I could relate to & I enjoyed reading how they fought their demons & battles. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

This book took me a little longer to get into that I would have liked and then it ended abruptly.
This is a story of lost souls ( Sara and Jake) trying to find thier way and dealing with loss, guilt and living isolated lives. I loved how the author brought in the nephwe Olly and that this story was told from different viewpoints.

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC.

Redemption what everyone wants. Redemption isn't just a small town but where people go to heal and find forgiveness. Sara story sucked me right in and I finished this in a day. I needed to know what happened with her and Jake. What became of Olly did Rose come back for her son. Did Aunt Cilla and Bryce become a couple I loved how it was all thrown together. Bryce and Cilla not sure about the age difference but I sure like the story of these two. Happy Ending all around.

I hope to see Rose in the next book
My thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I liked this book a lot and even though I haven't lost a child, as a mother I could empathize. I'll likely read more in the series and will definitely recommend.
