This was a great book it caught my attention right off with the characters name, Delight :) . I have never seen a name like that before. I also love stories about the revolutionary war and this one was very interesting with a Redcoat switching to the Patriot cause. Plus I loved the story included by Jill Stengl. I highly recommend reading this book.

I love, love, love reading historical fiction and Diann Mills has certainly fulfilled my expectations. The colonial period is also one of my favorite time periods. Women were often treated as property and were expected to remain pure. When Delight meets the wounded soldier, Henry, there are sparks, but not the loving kind. Will the hate change to love or will the two remain at odds?

The bonus story by Jill Stengl is also very interesting.

I am assigning a 5 ***** star rating to this book and I highly recommend it to those who enjoy a clean historical romance.
