“Welcome to Deadland” flashes back and forth between the past and the present occurring during a zombie apocalypse. Asher is a marginal college student who has connected with Wendy after losing his best friend. Ricco is a partying high school student who steps up and takes custody of a young boy who has lost his family. The zombie attack descriptions are basic. The jumping back and forty between past and present is a technique that could have been used better. Ultimately this was a DNF – did not finish.

I need more zombies and survival and less teen drama boredom.
