Fantastic and believable. The lure of a genie with amazing details and so much excitement. The action, humor and passion was crazy good. The ending and the surprises throughout the story had me gasping more than once. So many spins, it kept me constantly in awe. Book provided by NetGalley.

This one has been in our queue for several years and no one has read it. We don't think we are going to read it, unfortunately.

First book in the series. This is a book you can’t put down until you are finished reading. Guaranteed to keep your attention. Rainy has out done herself with the characters who you will want more from.

Dimitri is a Jinn who is working for the current Master a multimillionaire Karl Walker. Dimitri has to do whatever Karl wants him to or the hum in his head gets more painful. He has accepted his lot in life until he meets Syd in a bar. Then Karl has Dimitri going on back to back jobs getting more and more dangerous. Dimitri wants to find a way to keep Syd and still survive his dangerous lifestyle.

The first half of the book was mostly sex and graphic violence. It really started to get old and I was about to give up on it. then the plot came in and I couldn't put it down. The ending was really great. Now I am looking forward to the next book which I also have to review.

Super interesting premise! Very entertaining and unique! Loved the jinn a.k.a genie scenario, and really enjoyed all of the characters. Dimitri is a jinn, who can't say no to his "master". His "master" wishes Dimitri to do horrible things like kill and kidnap people. Dimitri is in a really bad situation. I liked the modern twist to being a jinn; Dimitri is like your average 23 year old guy, but he is essentially a slave. When he meets Syd, they have a passionate connection. There are some sex scenes, which I liked. Syd and Dimitri definitely have some spice. I liked how Dimitri tried to resist Syd, but he was really kidding himself. The romance is really sweet too! Loved them together. There's also some action stuff going on in this story. Dimitri is sent on missions, and I enjoyed that there was more than just 1 of those to read about. Those scenes added a new layer to the story. This story is a bit dark, but I enjoyed that. There's also some fun twists to the story! It looks like there is a book 2, but this one ends satisfactorily. I'll definitely be checking out the next book. Engrossing and a page-turner!

Solid, good read. I honestly can’t wait to read more books by this author!!! I don’t have anything else to say so why do I have to put 100 characters is this enough yet???

I'm sad to say that this book isn't what I enjoy reading anymore. I got about 50 pages in and I lost complete interest. For the right person, I'm sure that this is going to be an incredible read for them. But, unfortunately, for me it was not.

I loved it. It was fun and exciting. It did slow down in the plot towards the end but it was still a fun and intriguing reading. I real page turner

To be honest it took me a while to get into this one. I think it's because Dimitri really isn't that likable at first. For me it was how he kind of wallowed in self-pity. His life as a genie sucks but I never understood why he didn't do anything to change it. I wasn't sure what role Syd would have through the story until towards the end. I think her showing up in Dim's life was a weird coincidence. Things got better as the story progressed. There were some unexpected twists at the end. However, there was so much crammed into the final 2 chapters that there was a little confusion. I hope some of that will be straightened out in the next book. At this point I'm on the fence about the series. I didn't really feel connected to any of the characters. I felt sorry for them, but I never really got attached. I will read the next book to see how things progress. There's definitely potential.

Recommended for 17 & up. Sexual content & moderate violence.

I don’t read much PN but this blurb caught my attention. Dimitri is a genie who is bonded to his master and must do everything he wishes. Early on the pattern of the story line was the same...sex…wish…sex…wish and it became a bit predictable. I wanted to feel more of a connection between Dim and Syd but they barely spoke to one another. The book did pick up once the plot and links were revealed. I liked the humor; it was very funny and often had me laughing out loud. I liked the genie/master element since I haven’t read those types of books before and thought the history behind it was interesting. I do plan on investing the time into book two and am anxious to see what’s up next for Syd and Dimitri.

There once was a genie and his master. They acquire their roles through bloodline. But the genie is bound to do as his master wishes - more than the traditional Aladdin 3 times. And the master uses his genie for criminal acts. murder, burglary, kidnapping.
I tried to read this book twice, but only ever got 40% of the way through. I found it too repetitive. Murder. Sex. Kidnap. Sex. Burglary. Sex. Theft Sex. I am not going to read book #2 in series: Stifled as a result.
