Very enjoyable. I used to love fiction books like these when I was growing up. It was great to hear a true story of a rider who worked so hard to succeed. A true working partnership. I liked the growth of the horse and rider.

I am afraid it got me at the preface page where it says "This book is a work of fiction....." at which point I sadly abandoned it, sorry.
Maybe I got it wrong and did not give it a chance but that one statement was enough to skew my enjoyment of what I believed was a memoire.

I am a huge fan of books about horses, especially if the book makes you really feel like you are in the saddle, or at the stable. The idea behind this book sounds interesting; unfortunately, the execution is lacking real depth. This book could have been an excellent book with a few more edits.
