The Chrysalis is an unusual book. It is about love but is not a traditional love story. It is about an elderly woman in a nursing home who meets a carer, Zac, who reminds her of her former partner Raymond. In Zac she sees some of Raymond;s traits but she also sees how he is trying to subdue that side of him. She decides to take him to France with her to relive her past and to help Zac face up to his true self. It is a tender story of discovery and remembrance.

I didn't enjoy this book very much so I'd prefer not to say anything negative.
