Kabat does an excellent job of explaining how risk is calculated and what that actually means for individuals. While most people take as few non-dopamine increasing risks with their health as possible, it's helpful to understand, from a health professional standpoint the process that goes into it. It reads more like an academic work than the current trend of "pop" science, so I would recommend this book to serious readers, not people who are casually interested.
