I'm really torn on this one. I really wanted to like it and you can tell the author is trying to keep it interesting, but somehow it's boring and I'm skimming. So much so that I skimmed the second half of the book. His GF gets kidnapped and their's a crazy goddess/dragon on the loose and I still didn't care. Honestly a good editor could have saved a lot of this by cutting and rearranging.
