This is a short minimalist novella. The narrator recounts his relationship with Agnes while he is living in Chicago writing a book on Trains. The writing and the book are sparse. He also weaves together what is real and what is fiction. Can a story kill? This is a quick and easy read but it stayed with me after finishing. Enjoy this different novella
