This is the first book in the "More than friends" series which consists of 2 books. Each book is a stand-alone. Just married is not the strongest beginning for a new series, but I will give another chance to the author. The bickering was a little too much. Both characters were stubborn and not well suited if you ask me. I had a difficult time getting into the book and I was not very invested in the characters and the story

Just Married was a fun read- I liked the main characters, Miranda & Callum & I loved watching their "fake marriage" blossom into the real deal. I think my only complaint is the story was too short!

I look forward to reading more by this author

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Too many troupes for me to like this one. Mystery almost forced wedding. Secret pregnancy. Hero that doesn't want children. It all was too much to take in then throw in a wealthy hero to boot. Didn't like either character.

This book just wasn't for me. Thank you for the opportunity to read it.

A long term friends with benefits turns into a marriage of convenience that suddenly becomes so much more…..

I loved the idea, but the execution lacked for me. Things started out well, but the middle portion of the book went a little off the rails as Mira and Cal fought it out. I found both characters a little frustrating as they entrenched in the positions to protect themselves instead of really listening to what the other person said.

It seemed that we spent more than half of the book with these two angry with each other instead of really trying to figure their new reality out. Then at the first sign of real trouble, Cal has an epiphany things are perfect again. I really wish we had gotten to see more of the “making it work” instead of just the “poof it’s all better” that we got.

Overall, this is a decent read. It’s a quick story with nothing too heavy involved.
