This is a fun fast read and takes off at a run from the very beginning, however I struggled with the almost immediate relationship that they had.
After literally bumping into each other in an airport corridor and sparks flying they end up seeing each other again again at the departure gate. With a delayed flight and Rebecca in tears after an email from her family over her recently deceased aunt , Rex consoles her and they spend some time together until their flight is cancelled.
Rex is a big tattooed chef, but is not quite what he seems, however he is extremely taken with Rebecca and is quite sure from the first night that Rebecca is the one that he wants, especially when he find out that she works at the same hotel that he has just been hired for.
The book has a good few steamy moments, good friends and one person taking advantage of another, but overall is a fairly decent quick read.

Definitely got this because of the title and cover 😛. Rex needed to work on his DOM:... little weak but not too bad. Lot of bouncing with Rebecca. Overall good quick read

Sexy. Sweet. Unforgettable. I love this author and the stories she writes. Great chemistry. Undeniable attraction. Smoldering tension. Characters that make you feel everything. Highly recommended this book y'all!

The publisher sent me this copy, but I didn't like it. I have a few to review of Opal's that I did love so I will make sure to promote them.

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.
Well...oh my...okay. So there was some definite insta-love going on, especially right at the end, but this short story had a lot of good qualities. Carew knows how to write the hot stuff and that was definitely showcased in this one. Rebecca was actually a decent character, as was Rex, although they weren't quite as developed as I hoped for. That didn't take away from my enjoyment of the book though. Another enjoyable (and HOT) read by Carew.
