I’ve heard good things about Cesar Aira’s work, but I did not finish this book. I couldn’t connect with it, perhaps because of the subject matter. I'm sure there are other readers who will like the book. I’m not giving up on Aira, but this just wasn’t the book for me.

Beautifully descriptive book about a mans journey into the jungles. Surprising bits of culture and aristocracy to be found where the wildness takes over.
