Great story by Lisa Jackson!! All her books are absolute winners... highly recommend! Great characters and story.

Children of Hollywood star Jenna Hughes, the victim once of a crazed fan, Cassie and Allie Kramer try their luck in Hollywood. Allie gets the starring roles and Cassie the smaller ones. Allie's body double is killed, and all roads lead to Cassie. An ok read, not up to Jackson's usual fast paced thrillers.

This was generally as good as the other books I've read by this author. I did not know it was part of a series so I might have enjoyed it more if I had read the previous 2 books. There were some gripping moments that made it more enjoyable towards the end. I will definitely read more by this author in the future.

I was really hoping this book would be better than the 2nd, which it was.. but not as good as the 1st in this series. The mystery in this book is good, and it was nice to have the original characters back. But I wasn't happy with the twists and lack of character development with Cassie and Allie.
I really tried to stick with this book and get to the end, which I did, but it hurt.

This book was interesting, that is a good word to describe it.. Where is Allie Kramer? That is the main point of the book. That and what why all the strange events that seem to occur in relation to her being missing. There are so many things going on. While Allie is missing, there are other layers of crazy going on as well.

Cassie Kramer is an obvious suspect for several reasons. She was the one who wanted to move and become famous in LA, and she encourages her sister Allie to come along. Cassie finds parts in the business, but Allie is the shining star. She is the one who finds true success. Cassie is jealous, and initial fingers are pointed to her. In combination with blackouts, these fingers seem justified. She is also no stranger to drama. Her mother, also once famous, was also a victim of a crime and almost killed many years ago. Overall, Cassie's life is complicated with friends, family, and love interests.

Suddenly, Cassie takes over her own life. She is determined to find a killer who has been taking out those around her that resemble her family and friends. It was nice to see her being a strong female who could not be kept down for the count.

I loved the dark nature of the book.. The author is known for this style and she does not disappoint. I like her twisted thinking. You find yourself so invested and cannot put it down. While at time the story could feel rushed or a little too twisted with too many turns, it all works out in the end. I highly recommend this to everyone!
