It was a great and wild read, though I took all the information with a grain of salt. I don't doubt that Rita has hung out with these rockstars, but as they say, there are two sides to every story, Still, highly entertaining read especially if you love everything about the 80s and rock n roll.

I enjoyed this candid account of Rita's adventures with rock stars and movie stars, the book has some great photos and anecdotes BUT it's not a read for anyone prudish! The behaviour of the rock stars can be quite distasteful and there's a lot of drug use described in detail. But good luck to Rita for building a life after the excesses of the 1980s, she's obviously a survivor! Would love to read the second volume when it comes out.

This is a great look into the rock ‘n’ roll world that’s nothing but craziness! It a fun read with amazing photos and stories. This would be great for anyone who likes the 80’s rock music and unforgettable stories.

This book brought back lots of memories of the 80's and the rock and roll bands. Early MTV and becoming hooked on seeing your favorite bands right in your living room singing and playing music on videos, rather than just sound coming from a speaker of a music playing device. Going to concerts and thinking about meeting the rocker of your dreams, either backstage, by the tour bus, or at their hotel. And the author lived that life for years, meeting all kinds of rockers in this coming-of-age memoir. Wild nights of partying and of crazy sex. She found ways of getting free passes and backstage passes and became very good at getting them. This is her recounting of her years of being a rock star addict, looking for that something more... telling what went on behind the scenes. A sex filled, name-dropping, easy read that's not overly long. A fun trip down memory lane of the 80's groups. So, is there a 2nd book with the rest of the story, or was that just a tease?

My thanks to NetGalley and Arbor Oaks Books for providing me with a free review copy in return for my honest opinion.

If you enjoy hearing about rock stars and behind the scenes antics, this book is for you. What a fun book. I'm hoping author is continuing her writing to update her life now. Great book

Loved every word of this book! As someone who also 'rocked it' in the 80s and loved those long haired rock stars, Rita lived the life I craved. In my small town naivete, I didn't know that the secret to access was drugs. I always find the stories told from the woman's point of view infinitely more interesting than the male perspective and this was no exception. Love live rock and roll, rock gods, and the women who worship them!
