(I received a free copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.)

Once Adele, Molly and Lana were The Darling Songbirds, a world-famous country band. Now they're just three sisters who barely speak. But that's about to change.
Middle sister Molly arrives in town, and is immediately drawn to the neglected little café where she worked as a teenager. Could she dare to bring it back to life? As lead singer, Molly had always been the voice of the band. But caught between controlling big sister Adele and demanding baby sister Lana, she never felt heard. If she's going to reopen the café, she'll do it on her own terms, no more being bossed.
So the last person she should fall for is the handsome Sheriff Colin McMurty - the man whose job it is to tell people exactly what to do.

Let me start by saying that the blurb for this book does it no favours - there is so much more to this story than just a former singer who wants to re-open a cafe and falls in love with the Sheriff. So much more than that. I really hope that doesn't hurt sales...

What is missing from the blurb is evident very early on - these are "real" characters. No one-dimensional lead here. No blur-into-the-background supporting cast. This was a story that was written very well and let's the reader identify with at least one character along the way.

The story of the sisters - and the dynamic between them - was recognisable to anyone with multiple siblings. Each one has their own unique identity and they don't always get a long - just like real life!

The romance was just about right for what I like - it wasn't saccharine sweet, nor was it "should I-shouldn't I?" all the way through. Colin was a man who was used to getting what he wanted...but, then again, he hadn't come across the likes of Molly before. And that lays the platform for a nice romantic plot to go along with the overall arc.

A well-told story that is easily recommended!
