I found this a little lacking. not as in depth or full of insight as I was hoping. Perhaps it is due to Megan's age and that is of no fault to her. She has an impressive resume for her age and seems to have her head screwed on straight for her age but I was looking for just more.

There is a lot to be said for a young, driven, successful professional in the cutthroat massmedia profession - and also a wife and mother.

But while I admire the authoress's energy and while she is undoubtedly well-meaning, I also find her being fairly young (35) to advise her readers about thriving in their careers while staying faithful to your beliefs. I mean - an article/blog post or one chapter in some literary project would be more precise and concise in my opinion. Book feels like a too ambitious plan here. Many of her advices are very general, too, and they do not cover all the areas of professional life in media (or any work world).
I think that this book covers more the ethical issues compared to the practical tips, tricks and advice in the work field (there are some, but not all of them are concrete). This book might be a good start for the mass media hopefuls, yet they should certainly look for more resources.

The marriage and motherhood tips I find a bit problematic - there should be more emphasis on the quality of time spent together and building the strong, mutual marriage partnership in love as the base for their lives (the job success seems to me a bit too much domineering factor here).

Also I miss the advice on the quality of life - well-being, tapping the sources inside you, reconnecting with your soul in the quietude. Having the quality time with God.

But while there is a much I miss - I also like some of the advice (mostly these on work ethics!) and all of the drive and energy of the authoress. She works very hard! And the hard work is something I admire much, this one (combined with dedication and honesty) truly is the one quality for the lasting success.
