The book is insightful, funny, thought provoking, and will make readers a bit uncomfortable as they look at their happiness pursuits through a fresh lens.

The main title (in the US) is misleading as the book is not about anxiety, though the subtitle points to true topic of the book: happiness and the American drive (and industry) for it. I think the UK title is more appropriate: The Pursuit of Happiness. After moving to the US, the British author begins an immersion journalism project to explore the American happiness industry. Her findings are interesting but started to become redundant. I appreciate her witty tone.
