Book nerd confession here. I keep a reading journal. After every few chapters, I usually stop and write down what happened in the story and my feelings about it. I couldn't do it with this series. I got so caught up in this story that I couldn't bring myself to stop reading it. This final book is like the finale at a fireworks show. It is heart-poundingly riveting! Ms. Daniels has such a talent for knowing when to switch to the next scene and leave you hanging, biting your nails to know what's happening next. Her timing is flawless!

Ainsley Hamilton, oldest daughter to presidential candidate Buckmaster Hamilton, has always been the good child, the responsible child, the one everyone can count on. She's also the target of a stalker. One she never gets a good look at but can feel his presence. A presence that leaves her feeling eerie and vulnerable. While Ainsley is scouting locations for the commercial production company she works for, the stalker becomes more aggressive and dangerous. Lucky for her, in steps a handsome cowboy to save the day. His presence brings out a woman in her she doesn't know and it both scares and excites her.
Sawyer Nash, as a favor to Sheriff Frank Curry, offers to keep an eye on Ainsley. At the commercial production site, he's mistaken for an aspiring actor and decides to use that ruse as his cover. When he first meets Ainsley, he sees how beautiful and vulnerable she is but reminds himself what happened the last time he rescued a woman. Yet, as the election draws nearer, so does the danger and Sawyer is sticking like glue to Ainsley dodging one peril after another to keep them safe.

What an explosive ending to an unbelievable series. There are so many at first seemingly unrelated characters and events that come together revealing their part in the whole Prophecy story. And oh the villains! Ms. Daniels doesn't just write nasty villains, she writes Psycho/Fatal Attraction/ Misery type crazy villains that have no moral compass and will go to any lengths to achieve their goal.
I've always prided myself on being able to figure out characters and who-dun-it in movies and books. This story kept me doubting every suspicion I had. BJ Daniels keeps you guessing until the final pages are turned. Around every page is a new intrigue keeping you on the edge of your seat and asking questions with each clue. I have feverishly devoured this series until the very last piece of the puzzle was placed.
I wish I had Ms. Daniels writing talent so I could convey how amazingly brilliant this series is. But, alas, I am a horrible writer so you'll just have to take my word for it. This series is an incredible story with so many twists and turns, it will leave you breathless. Well done, BJ! Well done!
