This my first book to read by this author and I am sure it will not be the last. I enjoyed reading how Cara Dalton follows her twin brother who is away on a mission in Columbia. She hopes to surprise him, but she is the one who is surprised. she discovers that not only is he not on a mission trip like she assumed, but that he is actually involved in an investigation against a drug cartel. While she is there a murder is committed and the drug lord assumes that she has seen everything. He thinks she can testify against him so he must silence her. Her twin Jonas, has his best friend Gage to go to her apartment when she returns to the states and take her to a safe place. There is suspense and danger through out the pages, but all written in such a way as to keep you turning the pages. Also there is romance building between Gage and Cara. I liked the positive Christian message woven throughout the story. Looking forward to the next book by this author…..
I was given a free copy via NetGalley of this book in exchange for an honest review.
