This book could not be more amazing. The story is written in dual points of view from the two main characters, Kacey and Jonah. Kacey's band is just hitting the big time but she wants more than anything to have her parents acceptance, so she makes terrible choices to numb the pain. Jonah has a heart condition. When they meet, it's complex. When they decide to start up a relationship, it's an emotional ride until the very end.

This story was a heartbreaking read for me, It was a gorgeous story Kacey and Jonah were this force of nature that you know their story will forever change you. Its a story about 2 people meeting each other right where they are and loving each other despite everything life throws at them. Life is about moments I truly believe that and with their inspiratipnal story it makes the reader learn to not take anything for granted. It is a gorgeous story with characters that are so well written that I'm nervous and excited to read the next part of this duet. Kacey and Jonah were this force of nature that you know their story will forever change you.

Thank you Netgally for letting me read and review.

My. God. I can barely hold my tears at bay long enough to begin my review. If I were to pick a song to represent this book, it would be Adele's Lovesong. I keep listening to it, bawling my eyes out thinking how perfectly it represents Kasey and Jonah. BAWLING.

This book was stunning. It was one of the most beautiful stories of love I have ever had the privilege of reading. I feel like it took my breath away and filled me with all the love and hope between Kacey and Jonah.

"But I can't help but feel the universe is a vast place, and the soul of a human being is infinite, even if the body is temporary."

"I tried to put everything you are and everything I feel for you all in one place. But capturing the enormity of you is impossible. It's not enough. Nothing will ever be enough."

"I kept my broken heart to myself, until you came and took it in your gentle hands and breathed life into it. Into me. You taught me how to find life within every moment. You healed my heart when nothing else could."

"...but we have moments. Thousands upon thousands of them. Let's take each moment, seize it and wring it dry."

I feel so overwhelmed with emotion after finishing their story - I never wanted it to end! Lucky for me, there is a sequel! I don't know how on earth book two could ever compare and live up to Full Tilt, but I can say I am hopeful.

A truly amazing story for fans of contemporary romance/new adult. I HIGHLY recommend it. Well done, Emma Scott!

I knew going in to this story, that it wasn't going to fall into my "happily-ever-after box". I knew that it was going to be emotional and sad. It definitely was that. But there was so much love and joy to come out of this story as well. It was a great, touching, love story!

It's also fair to say that I think I know where the second part of the story is headed. Some call that predictable, which sometimes has a negative connotation with it. For me though, I thought it would be a perfect second part to the story - if it follows whats in my head. (you'll have to stay tuned to my review for book two to see if I was right or not)

This was another gem that I saw others posting about in the CoHorts FB group (the first was Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas). If you are a Colleen Hoover fan, and you aren't in that group, you are missing out! This is the second book recommendation that was widely talked about in the group that I decided to check out. Turned out Netgalley had both books in this duology available to request for review. It was definitely another win!

This story wasn't just about a physical attraction between two people...though there's definitely a lot of that. It really touches the heart strings. The main characters Jonah Fletcher and Kacey Dawson are both lost in a sense. Jonah is facing a very real time clock to what's left of his life and wants to leave behind a legacy. So he has a strict schedule to create a masterpiece of glass art. He's working two jobs basically and everything in his life is scheduled right down to the minute - nothing out of the ordinary, nothing spontaneous. Take meds, work, take more meds, work more. He doesn't sleep much. He's going through the motions of every day to work and to finish his art piece. For the last 15 months he hasn't allowed himself to be in a relationship with anyone. He's cut himself off from everyone but his closest inner circle: his parents, his younger brother Theo, two best friends Oscar and Dena, and his helper with his art piece Tania. He's existing....but not living.

Kacey is a guitar player in an all girl band that is finally hitting it big. Her life is seriously messed up and to "cope", or really just mask her feelings, she is never sober and is always with a different guy. Drunk every night, she's wasting away. Music is definitely her talent. She loves to sing and write songs...but this life of partying and touring was never what she envisioned for herself. Everything changes one drunken night in Vegas, after playing a show as part of their tour, when her limo driver is tasked with getting her home safely. The limo driver...is Jonah. This is truly where their story begins. First as a friendship they both desperately need. Then, as love grows, the incredible heat of the story.

It's not often I'm reading a story where I have the thought that pictures would've been so cool - pictures of Jonah's glass art. I'm confident what's in my head does no justice to the amazing art that is created in glass blowing. NA romance fans will definitely enjoy this story of love, of beauty found in even the saddest of places.

Top 5 Favorite Quotes:
"Thanks for being a good guy, Jonah. There's a shortage in the world."

"...you can find beauty everywhere, even in the things that scare you the most."

"I'm more afraid of not being with you than I am of being with you."

"We might not have months of years, but we have moments. Thousands upon thousands of them. Let's take each moment, seize it and wring it dry."

Whenever the urge to kiss him came over me, I would kiss him. No more living life halfway. We had to go full tilt, just like the card players did. I would hit instead of stay. Always.

This book gutted me!

I had this this one on my kindle for months and I finally decided to dive in. AND I'm so glad I read it!! I totally understand why this story was loved so desperately by so many readers out there. Emma Scott had me turning pages way past my bedtime. Full Tilt is a true masterpiece and I loved every second of it. Flawlessly and poignantly written, Jonah and Kacey’s heart-wrenching, tragic, but truly beautiful love story touched my heart so deeply, I felt emotionally drained at the end of it.

This book was absolutely everything!!! I loved its unique storyline and the characters so much. Kacey and Jonah were so very well fleshed out and so real. I was mesmerized by the sheer intensity of their connection. At times I seriously thought my heart was going to explode from all the love and amazing moments that this story possessed. Other times I was so overwhelmed with emotion, crying so hard I couldn't see the screen of my kindle.

This is so much more than just a love story—this is a story of true love, a story of human endurance, of courage, about finding good in the now, about hope, and most of all a major life lesson we must all master in our spiritual evolution - living each day to the fullest like there is no tomorrow.

"I would love you forever, if I only had the chance."

Full Tilt has all the elements of pure perfection. This might not be a stereotypical romance and yet it is truly one of the most compelling, inspiring and romantic stories I have ever read. Breathtaking, heartbreaking, emotional, beautiful, and just unforgettable! AN ABSOLUTE MUST READ!

I have never ever cried as much as I had while reading Full Tilt by Emma Scott.
My heart is shattered, I'm in tears writing this review.

This would be my first book I have read by Emma Scott, and I will definitely read more from her in the future!

Full Tilt is a story I will never forget, heartache, sadness, and a love story that will gut you beyond belief. If I could give this more than five stars, I would.

I definitely recommend reading this book, one of my favorites of this year.

I usually start off my reviews with a recap of the book but since I am an emotional trainwreck after reading Full Tilt I don't think I can bring myself to do it. Just know it is a damn good book with an emotionally devastating but heart warming plot. No, I'm not crying. YOU'RE crying!

Wow this book sure tugged and pulled on my heart strings. My heart was scattered and crumpled after reading this book! It was just so deliciously beautiful I think I just found a new author. Her words sure had a way of pulling you in and keeping you on your toes throughout the entire book! Which is good thing (because it shows how good of a writer they are) but also a bad thing (BECAUSE THIS BOOK WAS SO BRUTAL). I tried sleeping off the sadness this book has left me with since last night and ugh I just woke up more sadder.

I am a fan of books that jump between perspectives. So to see Kacey and Jonah's Outer happiness and inner turmoil was exquisite. Full Tilt is a very brutally honest read but it leaves you with a very important life lesson: You have to live each and every day like it's your last. Take advantage of the life that you we're given. Oh geez just thinking about is starting to make me tear up while typing this. *Runs and grabs a few boxes of tissues*

Full Tilt was a very hard read but it was beautiful and a real eye opener for me. This book has the highest of my recommendation. If you loved Me Before You then NO FREAKIN DOUBT you will love this book. This book is part of a duet, so right now I'm a little thrilled and a little too emotional still to start All In (book #2) but I'm so excited that there's a second book! You could read Full Tilt as a stand alone but trust me at the end you won't feel inclined to end the adventure there. If this book is not on your TBR then you will be missing out on a GOOD DANG BOOK. So ya better get to adding! Happy Reading my lovelies~

Full Tilt was AMAZING! I have finished this book ( and book 2) a little over a month ago and I still think about it! The story was so profoundly written and really touched my heart and soul! This is the first time I have read Emma but while reading I kept saying “how is this the first time I am reading her”, she is seriously on my fav list now! Full Tilt was an emotional tale about Jonah and Kasey! WOW seriously even now as I am trying to type this review I am thinking about each and every word from this story and how I felt when I read them! I was so thankful to have All In sitting in my kindle for when I was finished with Full Tilt because I did not want to wait.
Ok so now onto All In….now I am really going to trend lighting even though I could write a million pages about these books but I don’t want to spoiler book one….so here goes my tip toeing…
So after reading Full Tilt I was like this is seriously one of my favorite books of 2016 but then I started All In and WOW Emma seriously outdid herself. The conclusion of this two book series gave me the closure I yearned for at the end of Full Tilt. I was consumed by this book..I mean I could not adult all I wanted to do was lay in bed and just read read read. Thank goodness my husband was home and could take care of the house and kids hahaha.
Emma Scott is a remarkable writer and I look forward to reading more from her.
