This was an okay story but I don't feel like J. Kenner did a good job of pulling in the reader. I didn't really connect with the either or the heroine.

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

Called it! While the mystery at the heart of the story is a little predictable, it didn't stop me from being completely immersed in Dallas and Jane's world. Kenner has a way of writing that takes a relationship that should have been completely taboo and making it one that I was rooting for. These two are running against time, with Dallas's stalker taking things to the next level, and the pressure of keeping things hidden is getting harder.

This was a great ending to Dallas and Janes's story. The way Kenner wrapped up the mystery and their fight for a healthy relationship was great. I loved them, I loved the story, I just love Kenner's writing.

Forbidden love has never looked so good...J Kenner will have you feeling the intense suspense, chemistry (fanning self), revenge, chemistry and wrap it all up in a way you will not be disappointed. You will not be able to put this book down until you hit the last page.

You will fall in love with Dallas more than you did in the Hottest Mess. They are trusting one another more with their secrets...discovering what happened in the past and piecing everything together. I love the safety they feel in one another.

I did not enjoy this series. I loved her other books but this trilogy was not my favorite and had a hard time finishing this one

Thank you for the opportunity to read and review Sweetest Taboo. Unfortunately, I struggled with an earlier book in the series and didn't finish it. That kept me from continuing with the series. I appreciate the review copy, but I won't be rating or reviewing.

I usually dive head into a J. Kenner book but this one just wasn't for me I didn't connect with any of the characters I felt rushed thru most the book. Hoping her next book is a littler bit better

To be honest I wasn't quite sure I was going to enjoy this book because the previous books had so much angst as to their "sibling" relationship. I was very pleasantly surprised by the conclusion of Dallas and Jane's story. The hotness was off the charts. The deep and abiding love these two have for each other in spite of their traumatic pasts was inspiring. So glad I decided to give their love story another chance.

Sweetest Taboo is the continuation of and final installment in the story of Dallas Sykes and Jane Martin. The books in this series are not some of my favorites by Kenner, but once I started them, I had to see the trilogy through to the conclusion.

I had a hard time connecting with Dallas and Jane. To me, these books seem to focus way more on the sex then the romance or the story. The premise of the series doesn't do much for me either.

I'll continue to read books by Kenner, as I've really enjoyed everything else I've read by her outside of this series.

Even though I have not read the first two in this series, it matters not. Dallas and Jane are passionate. The sizzling electricity between them was phenomenal and the story was action packed. Suspense writing at its best. Thanks again to Ms. Kenner for keeping us up late nights to finish a good story.

Wonderful conclusion to this series! Loved it! You definitely need to read the previous books before starting this one, since this book is a continuation of the previous books. Dallas and Jane have gone public with their forbidden relationship, and are facing lots of public scrutiny, but they are determined to be together. Dallas and Jane's father; through adoption, isn't taking the news of their relationship well and has disinherited them, but despite how hurt Dallas and Jane are, they know their relationship is the real deal. More and more information is being found out about their kidnapping, and the mystery person that has been sending letters to Dallas, ups their game and starts making more serious threats against Jane's life. This book has all the depth and passion of the previous books, and I just loved how devoted Dallas and Jane are, and I was so happy that there wasn't anymore of Dallas' manwhore persona! The sex scenes were once again powerfully raw, and passionate. The connection between Jane and Dallas is really wonderful, and I love them together! I would've loved more of an epilogue though! In this 3rd and last installment of this series, everything comes to an epic conclusion! I've really loved this series, and I am so glad all the books were out, so I could read them one right after the other!

This was an amazing book. IT brought the conclusion I was hoping for along with the hotness that this author is known for. Though many points screaming was not an option this author still brought the goods with this tale.

Wow simply hot and amazing.

Fantastic read. All the heat and angst I expect from this genre. Dallas was a touch too much for me at times but he came through in the end!

OMG! Sweetest Taboo blew past my expectations! Knowing that this story was the third and final in the S.I.N. series, I still wasn't sure how it was going to end in a HEA (since we know Julie wouldn't leave us without one!) with so many public and private obstacles standing in Dallas' and Jane's way.

Sweetest Taboo picks up where Hottest Mess left us in a cliffhanger. Trying not to reveal any spoilers, the author delves more deeply into the personalities of some of the supporting cast of characters which in turn gives us more depth to our hero and heroine. A fantastic and suspenseful way to end this story/series!

This series is hot, hot, hot and this is the perfect ending to the trilogy.

The S.I.N. series has been a wild ride that I'm very sad to see come to an end. While I've been anxious to have my questions answered, I did not want to say goodbye to the characters that I've grown to love. I've been their behind the scenes cheering squad, having their backs in the face of those that would attack them. I've also been taking notes in the bedroom, out of sight of course. I think I need to read a few scenes a few more times, just to make sure I didn't miss anything...sigh. This amazing couple has been through hell, and came out the other side in pieces. The only one that seems to be able to put them back together again, is each other. Their shared experiences give them an unspoken understanding that nobody else gets. Their connection has withstood the test of time, and seems to only grow stronger in spite of those trying so hard to break it. And let me tell you, there are many trying to break them up.

This last installment in the series ties up all the loose ends in a spectacular way that had me holding my breath and afraid to turn the next page, but unable to stop myself from doing so. The suspense is intense and the players are dedicated, on both sides. It was a nail biting experience as I waited to see who would be left standing when the dust settled. J. Kenner never disappoints, so I'll be waiting for her next masterpiece, she's on my auto-click list.

***DNF***

I started this book a while ago. I absolutely devoured the first 2 books and couldn't get enough so I was really excited when this book landed on my kindle. I started to read it and just couldn't get into it so I put it down and tried something else. A while later and a book funk that lasted 6+ months hit me and I couldn't read anything even though when I tried. Now the funk is over so I'm going back over books I didn't finish but I still can't get into this book. I'm no longer invested in their story like I was before, and I'm more than certain I've know who "she" is since the first book, so I'm not even fussed about forcing myself to read it just to find that out. So I've decided to officially DNF this book.
