I wanted to love this story but it was very difficult. This was a very short read that ended on a cliffhanger which was very disappointing. The second issue I had was with the relationship itself between the MC's. I didn't the chemistry. There's no rhyme or reason provided for why these two should be together. Where's the glue? Why is Enzo an angry slave one minute then turns on a dime to being a committed lover and companion? I read this and I felt let down because the story left me with more questions than answers. The bones are there for a phenomenal book if Kai Tyler takes to time to combine all the parts I saw on Goodreads into one awesome cohesive novel.
