Clunky. The story may have turned out ok, had I been able to finish the book, but the clunky writing style distracted me enough that I couldn't get into it. It actually reminded me of stories I'd read in my freshman year of college in English class. It just didn't flow, nor read like a novel and for that reason I'm not going to be able to recommend this book. I appreciate the opportunity to read it though and thank Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for a honest review.

I couldn't even make it past the first 10 pages of this book.
