Jane Goodger is who I call the queen of regency beach novels. So many titles take place near or on a ship or ocean. This was a fun and witty story, loved Marcus and Samantha’s story

I really enjoyed Marcus and Lilian's story!

Lilian is accused of a murder she didn't commit. She is on the run when Marcus rescues her and lets her recover in his home. As much as he doesn't want to feel something for Lilian, Marcus finds his attraction growing for her everyday.

Add to the story a child, by Marcus's first wife and trying to solve the murder and we have a well rounded story. This was a great addition to the Lost Heiresses series and I throughly enjoyed it!

Lady Lost is book three in a trilogy, though it stands alone just fine. Typical historical romance and at least it is not set in a ballrooms. Writing is nice, characters and scenes work well. 2.75* out of 5
