This one was difficult for me. I tried to finish it and I juts couldn't connect to the story or the characters. I even stopped and read something else and took a break from it and came back to it later but this story just wasn't for me.

This book is hard to put into words. It was something different than what I was expecting entirely. I contemplated putting it down a few times because it just wasn't for me but I kept pushing through. My first thoughts were, a suicide pact... interesting...... but really there was no suicide pact. The two girls promised each other to never leave, to never be alone. Something else entirely. The premise was good, but it just fell short for me.

There are some twists and turns that you won't see coming. The surprise element keeps you turning pages. Even though I didn't love the girls, or their story in general, it was still interesting enough to keep me going till the end.

It's not a light or easy read. The description makes out like it's the perfect summer read. But it shouldn't be taken lightly.

My rating 3/5 stars
