This daily devotional starts each entry with "Precious Child," then one statement, followed by a short entry expanding on the single statement. Examples of the single statements are, ""I am your deliverer," "I am your dwelling place," I am your King of glory", "I am the One who hears when you call to Me." The entries are conversational and comforting. At the end of each entry several scriptural references are listed.

I think this devotional is well written, but my favorite devotional is still "Jesus Calling", by Sarah Young.
