I have read and reviewed several of these books. The stories are usually pretty decent. Have to watch out for some language and mild sexual scenes. Juliet manages a coffeehouse for her best friend Pete. Java Jive is the hub around which everything else rotates. She is always finding herself in the middle of some criminal investigation. Even when the local police aren't too happy about that. But she does end up dating a policeman out of that. Under everything is how she and Pete really feel about each other, while pretending to deny it.

Juliet’s personal and professional luck has taken a turn for the better. She has a boyfirend, great looking, detective Ryder Hamilton continues to simmer, and business at Java Jive is booming. However, Ryder has been promoted to homicide and Juliet is concerned about the type of people he will encouter, not to mention then the safety issue.

Juliet finds Chelsea dead, a missing college student and her involvement puts a strain on Ryder’s first homicide case. Now one of her's and Peter's employees went missing. Now what is happening and what will the end result be?
Book Review and 4.4 stars

This is a whole bunch of trouble for everyone connected and what happens at the end will be a surpise to them all. However, it is sad and it kind of reminds me of the episodes of Dissappear I watch, the ending . . . well I gues you will just have to read the book.

I think I'm a little bit addicted to this coffee house murder mystery series. As the third book in the series, I have grown more attached to the characters, their personalities and their relationships. I love series! Although there are always a ton of new characters introduced with these book (I mean, there has to be if someone is going to keep dying) and it's sometimes hard to keep names straight, it's still a quick, easy and fun read. Situations are completely uncommon in every day life and if I had 3 injuries within a weeks time, there is no way I would be wanting to leave the house to solve a murder. But that's what you get with Juliet. A crime fighting sleuth who wants to protect her friends while running her favorite place - the coffee house.

The Java Jive series gets better with each successive novel. I loved this one - the mystery was interesting and intriguing, Juliet's love life is realistic and dramatic and fun, and the investigation into the murders was engaging. Loved it!

This book is so much better than its cover! It's just the perfect cozy mystery. A little cheesy, a lot unrealistic but very enjoyable. The perfect little escape.

Fans of the Java Jive Mystery series by Caroline Fardig will welcome the third addition to the series, A Whole Latte Murder. Juliet manages Java Jive, a trendy coffee shop in Nashville near the college campus. Juliet Langley’s boyfriend, Ryder Hamilton, who is a cop, has been promoted to the homicide division. Since Juliet’s neighbor, Chelsea, has been found murdered, and Juliet is an amateur sleuth attempting to solve the murder, this causes some friction between the two. Juliet’s best friend, Pete wants to help her get over her stage fright, since she is a talented seasoned performer, and all this comes together to make a light, but suspenseful mystery. Of course Juliet and her employees are endangered throughout, since Juliet is a bit pushy in uncovering clues, and that gets her and her friends into some trouble.

Fardig is a talented writer; her prose is easy to understand, and is laced with plenty of humor. She comes up with unique scenarios that will appeal to those who like lighter suspense books devoid of sex, profanity, and graphic violence. The books in the Java Jive Mystery series are fun, and A Whole Latte Murder will keep most readers interested throughout the novel. Juliet, Pete, and Ryder are good characters and seem true-to-life. Readers who follow the series will find that they actually care about the characters because they seem like real friends.

While A Whole Latte Murderis light and humorous, it is still a novel that will entertain those who prefer cozies over the more serious thriller novels. This book is recommended for cozy fans of all ages.

Special thanks to NetGalley for supplying a review copy of this book.

A Whole Latte Murder
By Carolyn Fardig

This is part of the Java Jive mystery series featuring barista and baker Juliet Langley, who, in the first two books of the series managed to solve a couple of murders and begin a relationship with Ryder, a policeman.
Now, she isn't sure where she stands with Ryder, and finds herself wondering about whether she should consider dating her old friend, Pete, or a new relationship with Detective Stafford who really seems to like her.
And all this in addition to two murders and the disappearance of one of her baristas.
I enjoyed the characters in this book.

Love Juliet and her meddling ways, but that is what happens when you stumble across dead bodies and want to make sure the wrong person isn't convicted for the crimes.

This is a fun series and it looks like maybe Juliet is coming to a fork in the road in regards to her personal life. She also takes on her biggest fear - stage fright.

The mystery was intriguing and while I suspected the killer it was for different reasons. It was a big surprise to see it all laid out and how it was all intertwined together.

Juliet Langley, a coffee shop manager in Nashville tries to return a scarf and finds herself in the middle of a murder mystery. Even though she’s dating cop, Ryder Hamilton, she sets on her road to discovery along with old love and best friend Pete Bennet. Readers are never sure just which guy Juliet really cares for in the story and that adds to the suspense. Juliet is all over the place solving the crime, and there was a pretty funny scene where she was signing up to be an escort in the name of investigation. The characters, the pacing and the crime are set up well. The cover for this cozy mystery drew me in and the writing kept me there. Now I need to go back and read books 1 and 2 of the Java Jive Series.

Fantastic! Technically, this is a standalone book, but it would really help to read them in order. I recommend each one though. This climactic ending was perfect, yet a little sad. The characters were two easy to get wrapped up in that when one went astray, it really saddened me because it felt like I was a part of them. If an author can make that happen, they did good! There was action, tons of suspense and a lot of humor! I highly recommend. This book was gifted to me by the publisher.

Another book in the Java Jive Mystery series, and another great and entertaining book. To be honest i don't think i enjoyed this one as much as the previous ones, probably due to the relationship troubles Juliet was having with Ryder, i do hope that this all settles down and he stops treating her so badly. I did enjoy the fact that this was a lot more twisty and turny with the mystery, it had a lot more depth than the previous books in the series so things didn't quite turn out the way i had planned. In fact this book seemed to have a lot more violence (mostly against poor Juliet) and the end of the book was particularly bloody compared to the others in the series i felt.
I will carry on reading from this series but i think there needs to be a book in the future that is to do with other places within the town rather than the coffee house. I hope that with this book we won't be going back and looking at Ryder's past, and i kind of hope he doesn't turn up so much in the future, Juliet needs to settle down with the new love of her life!
I received a copy from netgalley to read and give me honest review.

This is the third book in the Java Jive series. This does read as a stand alone although I recommend the series as each book is fun and good mysteries. Reading the prior books will help the reader understand the characters and setting of this book.
This third book is a delight as our coffee house manager Juliet stumbles across another murder and begins to investigate with the help of her detective boyfriend. I enjoy the well crafted plot in each book, the sleuth has plenty of clues to keep each reader guessing until the end. There is little violence and the romance is not central to the mystery. The characters are as rich as the coffee. A very fun read. I look forward to the next in series.

Juliet just can't help herself, she can't help sticking her nose (and every other part of her) into the latest murder mystery. This time it's one of her neighbors and the fourth dead body she's found. Read about Juliet's escapades in finding the killer and the hunks that help her.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an eARC of this book.
3.5 stars and this time I will round it to 4.
Such guilty pleasure! I almost embarrass myself by liking these books as much as I do. This is the 3rd in the series and like the first two, it provides a delightful, mindless interlude in the reading of more series books. Definitely aimed at a young audience, it verges on chick-lit, but a well-crafted plot keeps one reading along. I enjoy the characters and their love entanglements provide a thread that ties the books together. Though the 3rd in the series, this would read as a stand alone with just enough of the back story provided to eliminate confusion but not so much as to be boring.

A good cozy mystery about a coffeeshop manager and the owner who also solve murders especially when it involves people they know or friends of people they know. It doesn't hurt that Juliet the manager has a boyfriend that is a homicide detective.

It's a fast paced story that will keep your interest. I haven't read the first 2 books in the series but I don't feel it took anything away from this book.

The third book in the Java Jive series continues the fun. Ryder's job brings relationship angst and a missing college student with ties to Java Jive - and to Juliet's apartment complex - give the crew their next adventure. It's great to see Juliet with friends beyond Ryder and Pete. The characters and banter keep the story going and keep it entertaining. I'd wondered if Carolyn Fardig could keep things going, but she kept it fresh while introducing new characters and believable scenarios. I definitely recommend reading the first two to get the references, but this Java Jive mystery is worth the time.
