I tried multiple times to read this, but I just couldn't connect with any of it. One of those "it's me, not you" type deals.

An interesting story, it really is different from what I usually read. The relationship between Ennek and Miner is continued to develop in this instalment, and I particularly liked how well they complement each other while still maintaining independent voices as characters.

While I liked the book, somehow it just didn't grab me - I'll still be checking out the final book in the series, of course!
