I can absolutely see that this author will go on to great things. Unfortunately, for this book, I found all the interest I had in the central mystery was being worn away by the difficulty of reading the overly-convoluted prose. As the author refines his voice I am sure I will come across a lot of his work in the future, but for now this one just wasn't for me.
