I'm a long-time fan of Haass's writing. Whether short- or long-form, he always offers food for thought and debate. In A World in Disarray, he examines the changing nature of international relations and politics, and suggests a new approach is needed. Quite convincing, even if you don't wholly agree with his suggestions, Haass's book should inspire your own examination and interpretation of how best to approach the shifting forces and qualities of international relations.
