This was a charming, faith based romance with some wit mixed in. I loved the characters and the small town setting. This was a “feel good” book for me.
Many thanks to Waterfall Press and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

Trust My Heart is a book about Jami who is returning home from college and is ready to step into a full fledged romantic relationship with her longtime boyfriend Robert. There's only one problem, they have NO spark, no true love or nothing like that. I liked that this book was Christian themed so it's clean and comforting. This book also has a small town theme to it, so that's always nice seeing as how I come from a small town. I really didn't want to turn that last page to finish this book, because it seemed like the book went by really fast.

2017 RITA Nominee Author Carol J. Post crafts a story of romance, reunions, and revenge in her latest novel Reunited by Danger. Recognized in the Golden Heart Awards and the Royal Palm Literary Awards for her work, Post's latest novel explores the lasting aftermath of teen behavior. As if high school reunions were not stressful enough, Amber Kingston faces hazardous relationships she wanted to leave in the past.
Five hard-partying friends, each carrying secret guilt, are invited to their 10th High School Reunion by one of their own who fails to appear. Ten years have passed since Amber parted ways with her friends, but long-held grudges rise again when the classmates are reunited. One by one, taunted by poetic threatening messages, they die.
This story reminds me of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None. The reader is drawn into the mystery of who the killer or killers could be as the characters meet someone's idea of justice. A taut, faster-paced, romantic suspense version of Christie's concept sweeps the reader into the story early as the suspense escalates to the shocking end. I enjoy my suspense with a heavy dose of romance, so this story fully entertained from cover to cover. Big kudos to the author for building tension and drama and surprising twists without stooping to cringe-worthy language. So refreshing!
Reunited by Danger comes out on September 1, 2017, just in time for late summer reading on the beach. Just in time for the next generation of teens to return to school. Beware.

Thank you Net Galley for the privilege to read this book.Trust My Heart is a clean Christian themed novel. It does not preachy at you. Set in a small town of Murphy NC.
Jami has just returned home to a job at the town newspaper. She gets her first assignment to interview Grant who has inherited the property that connects to hers. He wants to sell the property and that is his sole reason for being in town.
Jami discovers things about Grant's family that he doesn't know.
Grant has relationship problems, a busted marriage and a grandmother that didn't want him but yet left her estate to him.

Grant gives Jami two weeks to convince him not to sell the property to someone that wants to destroy it for Gold. Can she do It? Get the book and find out you will be glad you did.

It is so incredibly hard to learn to trust and love again once our heart has been broken. We become cautious and not as willing to trust again. New relationships become difficult as we can read the wrong meaning into something innocent as we judge the new person by old standards. This is very true in this story, as Jami was hurt when her Father left her at a very impressionable young age and Grant’s ex-wife left more distrust then good feelings after their divorce.

The story is very real, raw and painful. Sometimes you want to give the two of them a shake and to learn to trust each other, but we also know just how hard that can be. Lucky for these two, they have quite the determined and scheming friend in their small town who is hard at work to ensure these two find happiness.

Trust My Heart is an excellent story of faith, trust, forgiveness and finding peace. The journey to this is difficult and full of hard lessons but we have to face each one in order to be the stronger person we are at the end. I loved every moment of this special book.

This was my first book by Post. In fact sadly I'd never heard of her until I can across this book on NetGalley. Then it took me forever to get around to reading it and now I can't wait to read more of her books.

I really enjoyed the setting of this book and all of the fun activities the characters took part in throughout the book like hiking and white water rafting. I'm not a very adventurous or outdoorsy person so I like to read about characters doing those things!

I also really liked the characters in the book. I found them quite predictive but was expecting as much from this genre. The pace of the book was exceptional. I never felt the story was rushed or slow and really appreciated the romance.

The only part of the book I didn't enjoy was the matchmaking. I've never been a fan of matchmaking but if you enjoy those types of stories you'll LOVE this one.

Glad to have discovered a new author in one of my favorite genres.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ecopy to read. All opinions are my own.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

Jami Carlisle has just graduated from college and returned to her hometown in North Carolina to start her job as a reporter at the local newspaper. For her first assignment, she has to interview Grant McAllister, a New York City lawyer who has just inherited his grandparents’ house and all other possessions, despite never having met them. Neither are looking for a relationship but can’t help being drawn to each other.

I really enjoyed this clean, Christian romance; it was such a feel-good story. I am hoping this will be the start of a trilogy and that we will get books about Jami’s two best friends, Holly and Samantha, as well!

"Trust My Heart" is one of my favorite books this year! Carol J. Post writes with heart and has the ability to draw the reader in immediately and hold them captive in the characters' world. Grant and Jami both have their own agendas and their own goals, but they were not counting on meeting each other and the chemistry between them as well as the void that each fills in the other's life. Grant has arrived in this small town to rid himself of the mansion that he has inherited and he is ready to close this chapter and connection in his life. However, Jami is intrigued by this house and the story of the individuals whom owned this house, Grant's grandparents. As Jami digs into the past, Grant learns some truths and the two must learn to trust.

This is an excellent story and one that I am so happy I read. Carol is a new author to me and I am excited to check out other books by her!
