This was a sultry, pitch perfect adventure. There was romance, action, and treasure on the high seas. This was a perfect escape from lockdown.
Many thanks to Flowers & Fullerton and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

I really enjoyed Stevie and Conal story!

I always love a good pirate story and this one didn't disappoint! Stevie was not your traditional pirate. She just did what she needed to do to get her siblings back. She didn't plan on falling in love along the way. Conal will do anything to capture his sworn enemy, even being captured by a slip of a girl. Can this unlikely duo find their HEA together?

I loved all the secondary characters as well! Their antics had me laughing out loud!

The Sauvage family is large and noisy, they love each other and work together for common goals. I felt like I was part of the family.
This book has a kidnapping, the search for a long lost sister, pirate ship battles, a treasure hunt and romance.
This was a new author for me but I will definitely be looking for more of her books.

This was a new author for me. I read Book Four first, because it could be read as a standalone; however, I enjoyed the story so much that I am going to go back and start reading this series from the beginning.

This book has a kidnapping, the search for a long lost sister, pirate ship battles, a treasure hunt and romance. The story was very well written and very complex. You will meet the bad guy and then wonder why you like him seeing as how he is the bad guy. The story has a few very nice twists and moves at a very nice pace. The main characters are very interesting and likable, and the sub-characters are very entertaining which made the book so much more enjoyable. There were times when I laughed out loud.

This story has it all - drama, mystery, humor, pirates and romance. It was an excellent read. It looks like I have found a talented new author. Highly recommended!

Stevie Savauge and her family members are on a quest to find valuable treasures hidden by her great-great grandparents, who were notorious pirates. Their names were Anne Bonny and Calico Jack Rackham, of which the author tells their story in tandem with that of Stevie and her family. Stevie’s eight-year-old twin siblings have been kidnapped by Drago Viteri Gamponetti, “Gampo” and the ransom involves the taking of the merchant ship called the Seeker. However, the ship’s owner, Captain Conal O’Brien’s has other ideas. Conal wishes to catch him. Conal finds out that Stevie and her “pirate” family work for his sworn enemy, he doesn’t resist capture. For Conal, he goes along with the plan in order to capture Gampo, but finds himself falling in love with Stevie. The romance between the two built steadily until it was so steamy that it had to erupt. This was well thought out and cleverly delivered.
It has been some time since I have read a pirate romance and I was initially hesitant. However, this story had all the right ingredients. Chloe Flowers’ style of writing flows smoothly and she has such lively supporting characters that it was easy to be taken along on Stevie and Conal’s journey. I particularly liked the twins and hope to hear more of them in further stories.
I am very fortunate to have received an advanced copy of “Pirate Heiress” from NetGalley to read in exchange for an honest review.

A fire, a kidnapping, a treasure hunt, a romance and pirates

— what was not to like about Pirate Heiress?

If it weren't for Stevie Savauge and the whole catching the kitchen and then the rest of the building on fire incident, her family would still have a home, and her family would not have gone on a quest to find a secret treasure hidden by her Great Great Grandparents — which subsequently led to the capture of her eight-year-old siblings. Now the kidnapper is demanding that they deliver him a ship called the Seeker or the children will die.

Does Stevie's family have it in them to become pirates, save the children and find the treasure? Time will tell...

I was intrigued by the blurb, and by the time I had read the first chapter I knew this book was a keeper. With mesmerising prose and a storyline that I simply adored, Pirate Heiress has all the makings for a great read.

I loved the characterisation of Stevie. Stevie is thrown into a man's world — a pirates world— and she has to learn very quickly how to stay alive. What she did not expect to find was love with Captain Conal O’Brien, especially after she and her family took control of his ship! The romance between the two is a steady build which simmers and then explodes into one heck of a storm that neither Stevie or Conel will ever recover from! Totally believable and very romantic! Love, Love, Loved it!!

It seems a strange thing to say, but I really liked the antagonist of this novel. Drago Viteri Gamponetti has his own back story, which takes nothing away from the protagonists but kept me interested and turning those pages. I wanted to dislike him but found that I could not, for he is, despite the whole kidnapping incident, a nice man.

This storyline itself was well thought out and engaging. I have read a fair few "pirate romances," and I have to say that Pirate Heiress is up there with the best. FANTASTIC READ!!

I thoroughly enjoyed Pirates Heiress, and I look forward to reading more books from this author. Well done, Chloe Flowers!

I Highly Recommend.

If you want adventure, lots of interesting characters, pirates, hostages, buried treasure, an intricately woven plot (inside of other plots), this is the novel for you! Full of excitement and fast paced dialog, the story is hard to put down. I enjoyed the story as there were many twists and turns that were totally unexpected. I enjoyed both Captain Colan and Stephanie Savauge’s characters, they were well developed and likable from the beginning. I would have enjoyed a bit more romance, but this was nice for a change of pace. This is a stand-alone story, however, it is actually number four in a series, I can’t wait to read the first three and I will definitely look for more from Chole Flowers.

I really enjoyed the story. It was a nice, easy read with the perfect amount of romance and steam. I really enjoyed all the characters and I liked the little twist at the end that seem to bring all of the characters together. I definitely recommend reading this if you're in to pirates and happily ever after's. I received an ARC from net galley for an honest review.

This low rating does not mean it's an awful book. So please go into reading this review with an open mind. To me, it was just ok Three stars mean, it was just, ok, alright. Nothing fancy or special about it. There was nothing exciting, nothing driving me to turn the page and keep reading. It's your typical, pirate, girl needing help, love story. I hate to use the word cliche, but that's what it was. If you want mindless romance, definitely this is for you. I want something more exciting. I didn't feel the emotions of the characters, I didn't feel them falling in love. It seemed to me, the way Stevie is described, I kept picturing this dirty, unkempt girl and wondering, how can he fall in love with her. The fact that everyone comes out smelling like roses was a big turn off as well. When I read a romance, I want feelings! I want to turn the last page, sigh, and smile, and this story just did not elicit that feeling from me. Maybe if I go back and read book one in the series, but as it is, this one just did nothing for me.
