This was a good book a fresh straight story about their life without drugs and some of the other things that you read about Pro athletes. They have there same ups and downs as other people and how they work through them. Pretty much what the titled said.

Bruce is from a family of seasoned NFL (3 generations). He was an NFL player for 19 years.

Despite the shiny exterior we think NFL players have, he tells real stories of battles overcome, struggles with depression and other illnesses.

He writes in a way that makes you feel he’s right opposite you in your sitting room, telling you stories after stories of himself and his family and the lessons you can learn.

Favourite Quote: “Competition is great, but there is a line that you don’t cross.”

Rating: 3.5/5

Recommendation: Bruce gives an insider story about the dynamics of being part of and NFL super family. He sugar coats nothing and he shows how he (and his family) have lived by certain distinct principles.
