The book was fast-paced and exciting. The prologue is a little gory, so if you don't like gore, I would not recommend. The books starts with two young women at a concert. A gunman attacks the concert and havoc breaks loose. The author then goes back eights days prior to the event and provides backstories. If you like a realistic story, I would definitely recommend as the characters are very fleshed out. Also, there's an intense cliffhanger at the end of the book!
