'Kill the Father' is a complex and frightening book filled with a cast of intriguing characters. It is a story about abduction and murder. An escaped kidnap victim with a fear of closed-in spaces teams up with a feisty and unconventional police woman to hunt down the perpetrators of multiple crimes. Snippets of past events are cleverly introduced into the story and later given significance when, after a number of surprising twists, everything comes together in a nail-biting conclusion. Highly recommend. Thanks to Simon and Schuster Australia and NetGalley for the ARC.
