This book is a guilty pleasure! Grace and her friends went to school to become Governesses. Grace has a secret, she gave birth to a baby girl she gave away for adoption. A few years later she looks for her daughter to find that a governess is needed for her precious secret.
This book is predictable, but a lot of fun to read. Her love for her daughter and the balancing act she lives is entertaining. Her reluctant to full blown attraction for the Duke is creative. This book doesn't take long to read and is engaging. The book does contain intimacy between unmarried participants.

I liked the idea of this book, I honestly did. I’m a sucker for secret baby plots, and this one had an interesting twist, but the pacing of it was a bit off – for the longest time nothing happened and then it all felt rushed.
Both characters were nice on their own, and I believed the relationship they developed, but they kept making the same mistakes over and over, which got frustrating.
Though I did like it, it wasn’t as good as I hoped.
