This book blew me away. With the ending of The Shadow I knew that this book was not only going to start with a BANG, but the ending was going to be nothing we could imagine. It was that and so much more. The heart wrenching scenes in this book had me gripping my reader to the point it might break.



The Roman was the perfect blend of plot line and emotion. It was sexy and steamy, while also having such depth that it felt 100% realistic. You were completely invested in each and every outcome as the book progressed.

Raven and Williams story is one I have carried with me as I waiting for this final chapter. Sylvain delivered exactly as always, with a novel that you can't put down.

The author has a talent in the way that no matter the novel written, it packs such an emotional punch that by the end you need a stiff drink.

We jump right back in where we left off, none of that time jumping. It only takes but a few pages and you are right back into that adrenaline spiking ending. But things aren't exactly as Raven thinks and that makes it even more exciting.

Throw in some war, betrayal, and a few miracles and this book is chaos in a beautiful emotionally vexing package.
