I didn't know anything about the Russian Revolution so I thought well, I like poetry maybe give this a try and learn something. But the writing was hard to get into. I think poetry is such a personal thing so it was hard to continue this when it didn't hit with me. the stories were a bit better but not much. I would only recommend this to people who have knowledge of Russian history.

Collection of poetry and short stories relating to the Russian Revolution. I enjoyed the stories more than the poems. It is assumed that the reader is familiar with the various characters and political movements of the time, so I would only recommend this book to those who already have a basic knowledge of Russian history.
