Is this what an LCD experience like? Funny, ridiculous and way too bizarre. I really liked it in the beginning, but then it got way too much for me.

A quick, quirky and highly enjoyable read. If you like the weirdness of Pratchett, this would be right up your street!

This was a fun, zany book that reminded me of the noir detective type films but set way in the future in an almost unrecognizable earth. It was also reminiscent of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in the world setting. A thoroughly fun read and I hope there are more to come!

Good-humoured SF in the Harry Harrison mould. An entertaining start to a new series which, while harbouring no major profundity, would be a nice one to curl up with on a rainy day.

I loved this book!!!!! it is quirky and out of the box and hilarious. Set in a future earth where we have just built on top of stuff, worse than the Jetsons, there are a few vintage refurbished flying cars but most people don't use them. Everything is automated and push button with instant gratification and pills to take flavored like food. Blake Carter is a PBI (Planetary Bureau of Investigation) agent who has been chasing the evil genius, Bartholomew Badde for years. He is assigned a new partner, a cyborg named Nikki Steel and they are told to stay away from the Badde case. Blake won't stand for this especially when Badde steals a super EMP machine and kidnaps Blake's daughter. A hilarious chase ensues and you just must read it!!!
Darrell Pitt deserves an award of some kind for his inventiveness, especially for Blake's ex-wife's interrogation by the GADO police! It is a priceless piece of dialogue!!! Laughing out loud fun!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to future writing!!

If you are looking for some thing different look no more! I loved the humor and the interaction between the main characters and the narration was funny as well.It is difficult to describe this book, I have never read anything like it, the author doesn't just think outside the box they didn't have a box in the first place ! Be careful where you read this book, it made me laugh out loud loads of times luckily as I mainly read in bed only my cats thought I had gone mad and I think they thought that a long time ago.really funny book and I really enjoyed reading it, it didn't take itself too seriously and was great fun.I would like to thank the Publishers and Netgalley for an ARC in return for an honest review.
