This book was just okay for me.

I found Jess to be immature at times, not taking situations seriously and hiding information. Ghost was too hot headed at times for me. The ending was very rushed; the entire threat was resolved too quickly for me. And when the threat was out there no one stayed with Ghost and Jess to ensure their safety?

Ghost is book 5 in the series but can be read as a standalone.
The story certainly starts off from page 1 and and is a nice fast paced read.
There was a nice dose of MC action and I liked the plot element of the story.
Ghost and Jesse were equally likeable but their chemistry just fell a little short for me.
Overall a good read.
I was provided with a copy of this book from the Publisher via NetGalley; there was no inducement or obligation.

My review for this book is short because I couldn't connect with the character. Although this was standalone I feel like I should have started at the beginning and maybe got used to the characters and got to know them.

Ghost was somewhat of a loner I would say. He left that things that he needed to behind and really got into the MC. His family was the MC but one day when he received the call from his step sister, he had to jump into action.

Jess was a good/bad girl and stayed in trouble. It was almost like Jess was the poster child for trouble but this time it was so much she had to get Ghost and the club involved. Do they walk away because what they have to go through puts them at risk? Do they help her and does Ghost follow through with his desire?

I enjoyed the book but I felt there was something missing that I can't pin point because I'm new to this series. I will go back and read the series to understand them a little more
