Great concept, good story. It was slightly boring.

Sophia’s friend was Alice who was always honest with her. Actresses seemed to need three aspects: voluminously bouncy locks, a slim yet full figure, and a beautiful olive skin. Sophia thought Alice was perfect. Alice and Sophia shared an apartment. Politics is something Sophia had a passion for. Sophia and Alice caught the report of the death of Megan/ Karen Hart who had been America’s sweetheart. Sophie and Alice had known Megan before all her fame. Megan/ Karen had been Sophie’s best friend - Megan had been Karen before she got famous. Sophia and Karen used to braid each others hair while talking about what they wanted to do with their lives. But as of Late Karen and Sophie had talked less and less. But the Media showed Karen as rash, impulsive, and prone to bad decisions when drinking. Sophie and Alice hadn’t seen that much of Karen lately, when they did it was carefully controlled. Sophia went to Karen’s funeral and Karen’ s mom Evelyn wanted her to sit with the family. Sophia did not believe Karen killed herself. At the funeral Sophia was approached by Cassandra Tanner and her associate Paul Hade. Paul had handed Sophia some cards on the back of one was “ come to this audition Friday” with an address. Sophia was a little put off that she had been approached at Karen’s funeral but it may mean an acting job.
This was a pretty good read. I thought it odd that Sophia was approached at the funeral but I guess whatever. Especially as Sophia didn’t have that much luck getting acting jobs. Then to be thrown into the position of being a star on the rise but still wondering about Karen’s death. I did like the plot a lot. I liked the part that even though Sophie was on the rise she didn’t forget about her question of Karen’s death. I liked the characters a lot and the ins and outs of this story and I recommend.
